Meet Kosta! Our Director and Oral Health Therapist at Ultra Dental. After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2012, Kosta wanted to expand his skills in adult restorative dentistry by completing a Graduate Certificate in Dental Therapy at the University of Melbourne in 2016. He completes professional development courses annually to expand his skills both clinically and professionally.
Along with working at Ultra Dental, Kosta is a Clinical Educator in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Sydney. Kosta has experience in developing and implementing Oral Health Policy within the Aged Care sector. In particular, training and mentoring Aged Care staff and students on providing oral health care to residents with dementia and other medical conditions.
Kosta takes pride in his quality of work and is particularly interested in the field of Paediatrics, Periodontics, and Restorative Dentistry. In his spare time, Kosta enjoys playing with his toy cavoodle Harry, going to the beach for a swim and cooking up a delicious barbeque.
CRYSTAL COTSONIS

Meet Crystal! Our Director and Practice Manager of Ultra Dental!
Crystal has 6 years+ experience in the Dental Industry, learning all areas of a dental clinic including; Reception, Clinical Coordinator, Senior Dental Assistant and Practice Manager. She says her favourite part of her role is being able to meet new people and build relationships with patients like they were her own friends or family. Her particular interests include; working with children and families, building her knowledge in the various areas of Dentistry and educating local communities on the importance of Oral Health. Crystal also has over 10+ years experience in customer service and understands the importance of customer satisfaction!
In her spare time, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks along the beach with friends and travelling overseas.
DR. AHMED WAHBA

Meet Dr. Ahmed! He is Ultra Dental’s Dentist!
Dr Wahba graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor Degree in oral and dental surgery. He has travelled the world bringing exceptional dental care to communities in the Middle East, Queensland and Sydney. Dr Wahba has a particular interest in implants, endodontics, veneers and cosmetic restorations.
He was awarded the Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2012 and in 2018 he was elected as a member of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons. Dr Wahba prides himself on providing the highest standard dental care and service as well as regularly taking courses to stay up to date.
In his downtime, Dr Wahba enjoys a range of outdoor activities such as water sports, swimming and motorbikes.
DR. Kyriakos Tambassis
Dentist

Kyriakos is Ultra Dental’s Dentist who will focus on our high demand for Invisalign! Dr Kyriakos has been a dental practitioner for over 10 years, initially entering the dental
field as an Oral Health Therapist (USYD – Bachelor of Oral Health) and later becoming a Dental Surgeon with distinction (CSU – Bachelor of Dental Science) where he was awarded the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Academic Prize for his commitment and efforts to the field of dentistry.
Throughout his time, Dr Kyriakos has rapidly built experience by working in both public and private sectors within dentistry. This paired with his innate passion for self-improvement and ongoing education Dr Kyriakos stays up to date with current technology and techniques to provide the optimal care, comfort, and improved quality of life for his patients.
In his spare time, Dr Kyriakos enjoys spending time with his family, making fruit wine and grafting his citrus and fig trees.
CHARISSE TAN
Oral Health Therapist
Meet Charisse! Ultra Dental’s Oral Health Therapist!
After completing a degree in the Bachelor of Oral Health, Charisse was able to pursue the joy of teaching and helping her patients keep their teeth clean and healthy through her experiences in hygiene, restorative and orthodontic dentistry. Charisse prides herself on being extremely gentle and thorough in every treatment she performs. Her goal is for her patients to enjoy and look forward to their next visit! Charisse is interested in Paediatric Dentistry and working with children to ensure the new generations have positive dental experiences.
In her spare time, Charisse enjoys playing the piano and singing, spending time with her family and enjoying a great drama film!
